Maybe if the [our] left side of the face was extended a bit, without changing the position of the eyes and nose; just extend the line out a bit... =/
A question about the door: is it solid panelled wood or the wrought iron variety? If the latter, a few layers of tones would add a little more depth; just vague hints of trees, grass, sky.
Great job on the cobblestones, the perspective on them is perfect!
But the characters' hair (not Bri's though) seems a little flat; don't be afraid to go inside the outline and add more shapes, lines, etc. to give it more volume, even if just for highlights/shadows.
I am reworking Tien's design (thank God she doesn't come back for a while). I'm unfortunately not that great with older characters, and Tien happens to be somewhere around 3000 years old...but looks about fortyish.
I just realized something about this page: Bri should be coming out the door, and Tien and Lex should be up against a basically blank wall. I. Am. STUPID! @__@ The door is wooden, actually...but a graytone would've helped a lot, especially with the stones around it being white. X_X
There actually IS no perspective done on the cobblestones. In perfect shoujo fashion, I made a basic pattern into a tone and made it blanket-fill that whole area. The carpet later on uses the same thing, but unfortunately didn't work how I planned. X_X
Ah, I see. Either way, it turned out great. Whatever works, right? =)
And this is why I love Computones (yes, I got it from the HTDM books!); I'd do a fill on the floor tones, and the plug-in would let me change the angle of the tone application, so you'd have just as much control over it as if you were putting them on by hand!
