I think my favorite thing about Jirkle is how expressive his bat-wing-ears are. Just by lowering them here, I was able to point out he was a little...upset, to say the least. We don't see his face at all.

But what's he mean by "for your sake, as well as mine"? You'll see later. =P And I can gloat on how much I love this line.

And I find it ironic that I sit here drawing a manga-influenced story when over 50 years ago a bomb dropped in Japan.

Ah nice, nice.
The back of Jirkle's head is indeed well-rendered.
Good layout, once again, very interesting.
Although some background tones/effects in the second panel would have been appreciated to show/enhance Jirkle's dark mood.

The bomb dropped because it had to! If it hadn't of dropped many more millions of people would not be alive today in Japan and the rest of the world! War is a sad thing that humans persue but the end of war is a good thing.. it was over 60 years ago btw great work on this page I'm dumb I didn't get that bat ear panel I had no idea they could grow so large..
